ABOUT 5th & Shady Lacrosse
Focused on developing sustainable high performers!
Who:
Since 2016, 5th & Shady Lacrosse has been fully dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse through our volunteering to teach physical education classes at local schools, hosting after school programs, camps, clinics, school clubs, internal leagues, and travel teams.
What:
We work with local schools to inform physical education classes about the fastest growing sport in the world. We have also assisted schools with being awarded US Lacrosse Grants. We focus on the whole athlete and work to develop sustainable high performers that excel in resilience, grit, academics, and athletic IQ.
5th & Shady Lacrosse has had success coaching youth athletes who have been invited to participate in the Warrior All-American Games, Face off Academy National Showcase, and multiple select clubs across the US.
Coaches are US Lacrosse certified and many of them personally invited to assist in coaching at Army West Point Men's Lacrosse Camp.
Why:
What separates us from other programs? Our intentional attention to player development and "Honoring the Game". A win is short lived when it's through a few select players. We are focused on the development of all our players.
